(2024) (MASTER) Purchasing a Luminaria Kit for Light Up Night

Mt. Lookout’s 49th Annual Luminaria event is here! Organized by the Mt. Lookout Community Council (MLCC), Luminaria is an annual holiday tradition enjoyed by our community. On Light Up Night, neighbors line our streets and sidewalks with luminaries to celebrate all winter holidays. 

Luminaria is the MLCC’s biggest fundraiser. We are a non-profit organization and proceeds from our luminaria kit sales are directly reinvested back into our neighborhood in many ways including the beautification and maintenance of Mt. Lookout Square (such as landscaping, our new pollinator garden and flowerpots) and the sponsorship of community events such as the Fall Festival and Ault Park fireworks.

Kits are $30 each, or two for $50. Each additional kit is $30. Each kit includes 24 white paper bags, 24 white votive candles, sand, and Luminaria Program Book, which includes instructions on lighting your luminaria, family festivities and sponsorship details.
