MOUNT LOOKOUT COMMUNITY COUNCIL The MLCC is an all-volunteer organization that informs, serves, and advocates for the residents and businesses of Mt. Lookout, Cincinnati. Founded in 1906, it is the oldest continually operated civic organization in the State of Ohio. |
Your Community Council Membership The Mt. Lookout Community Council is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization dedicated to building community in and advocating for Mt. Lookout. Every member is crucial. Please note: If you are already a member "in good standing" you will be prompted to log in. No further action needs to be taken by you unless you would like to renew early or change your membership status. When your membership is due to be renewed, you will receive reminder emails. Membership dues help the MLCC pay for the landscaping and maintenance of the public areas of Mt. Lookout Square (the City does not do this). Dues help MLCC sponsor community events such as the annual Mt. Lookout Fall Festival, Luminaria Light Up Night, and the MLCC Scholarship Fund. But just as important, *your* name on our membership rolls gives *your* neighborhood advocacy group more weight when dealing with City government and private development on *your* behalf. And, membership gives you voting rights on MLCC officers and disbursing certain City funding. To be clear, becoming a supporting member does not mean you are joining the board or committing your time and effort. It's a token of support to your community representative organization. An annual membership is only $30 per year. You can join HERE. You can select a one-year membership or a recurring annual one. You'll be prompted to create a member profile--this is so we can roll out additional member perks and features in the near future. Please let us know if you have any questions, or have any difficulty signing up or renewing your membership. You can reach us at info@mtlookout.org. Thank you for joining the MLCC! |
